北海道コンサドーレ札幌様がタイのユース選手と共に札幌名誉領事館にご来訪いただきました

北海道をホームタウンとする日本プロサッカークラブである北海道コンサドーレ札幌様がタイ国内で実施した「ユース選手を対象としたタレントセレクションイベント」で選出されたチサヌポン シラスワン選手が札幌を訪れており、その一環で荒井名誉領事と山口名誉領事補佐が札幌名誉領事館にて面会をさせていただきました。
今回の来訪には、北海道のラジオ局　FM　NORTH　WAVE様が同局で放送されている タイの情報番組「Sabaai Sabaai! Thailand」レポーター・ディレクターの城野様もご一緒においでいただきました。 北海道コンサドーレ札幌様は、2017年にタイ人のチャナティップ選手が加入し活躍、現在でも在籍しているスパチョーク選手は、2027年のアジア杯予選のタイ代表に選出されるなどタイの優秀なサッカー選手が活躍されているチームです。 FM　NORTH　WAVE様のラジオ番組「Sabaai Sabaai! Thailand」は20年目を迎えられ、タイの魅力を北海道に発信し続けており、両者とも従来タイとの関係を大変大切にされていらっしゃいます。
2024年には試合会場にて「タイフェスタ」が開催され、同会場で「Sabaai Sabaai! Thailand」もタイを紹介されたことなど、両者のタイへの深い思いをお伺いすることができました。 荒井名誉領事よりシラスワン選手へ「北海道コンサドーレ札幌様で日本のサッカー技術をたくさん吸収し、北海道の滞在を楽しんでいただきたい」とお話をさせていただくと共に、今後名誉領事館としてもより多くの北海道の皆さまにタイを訪れていただけるよう魅力発信の活動を北海道コンサドーレ札幌様やFM　NORTH　WAVE様とともに協力していきたいと思っております。

HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO visited the Sapporo Honorary Consulate with a Thai youth soccer player.

HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO, a Japanese professional soccer club which hometown is Hokkaido, visited the Sapporo Honorary Consulate with a Thai youth player, Chisanupong Silasuwan. Honorary Consul Arai and Assistant Honorary Consul Yamaguchi met with them. Player Silasuwan was selected by HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO in the “Talent Selection Event for Youth Players” held in Thailand.
Ms. Jono, reporter, and director of “Sabaai Sabaai! Thailand” a Thailand information program broadcast by FM NORTH WAVE, a radio station in Hokkaido, was also present for this visit.
In 2017, Thai player Chanathip joined HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO and played an active role. Player Supachok, who is still with the club today, was selected to represent Thailand in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, and HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO is a team with excellent Thai soccer players.
The radio program “Sabaai Sabaai! Thailand” on FM NORTH WAVE, now in its 20th year, continues to convey the charm of Thailand to Hokkaido, and both companies have always valued their relationship with Thailand.
Thailand Festa was held at the match site in 2024, and”Sabaai Sabaai! Thailand" was also introduced at the same venue.
Honorary Consul Arai told Player Silasuwan that he hopes he will absorb many Japanese soccer skills at HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO and enjoy his stay in Hokkaido, and that the Honorary Consulate will cooperate with HOKKAIDO CONSADOLE SAPPORO and FM NORTH WAVE to promote the attractiveness of Thailand to more people in Hokkaido.

タイ王国「上級政治および選挙開発プログラム研修」参加者　政府関係者の皆さまが札幌名誉領事館を訪れました。

タイ選挙管理委員会事務局ほか「上級政治および選挙開発プログラム研修」の参加者　11名の皆さまが北海道札幌市を研修で訪れ、その一環で2025年1月22日（水）札幌名誉領事館にて荒井名誉領事と山口名誉領事補佐が面会をさせていただきました。
荒井名誉領事から札幌名誉領事館の日々の活動内容についてご報告申し上げ、参加者の皆さまからは、日本の選挙制度やタイと北海道との関係についてのご質問をいただきました。 双方制度の違いを認識したほか、様々なお話をさせていただく大変貴重な機会となりました。
2024年は、訪日外国人客数が過去最高を記録し、北海道を訪れるタイ王国の皆さまもコロナ流行以前のように増え始めているため、今後も北海道を訪れるタイ王国の皆さまのお困りごとに東京大使館と連携をしながら対応できるよう努め、更には北海道の皆さまのタイ王国へのイメージアップに繋がる活動を継続してまいりたいとお話をさせていただきました。

Participants of the “Advanced Political and Electoral Development Program” in Thailand visited the Honorary Consulate in Sapporo.

Eleven participants of the “Advanced Political and Electoral Development Program” visited the Honorary Consulate in Sapporo. Honorary Consul Mr. Arai and Honorary Consul- Assistant Mr. Yamaguchi met with the participants.
Mr. Arai gave a report on the daily activities of the Honorary Consulate in Sapporo. The participants then asked questions about the Japanese electoral system and the relationship between Thailand and Hokkaido. We were able to recognize the differences between our systems. It was also a very valuable opportunity for us to talk about various topics.
In 2024, the number of foreign visitors to Japan reached a record high, and the number of people from Thailand visiting Hokkaido is beginning to increase as it did before the coronavirus epidemic. We would like to continue our efforts to respond to the problems of Thai visitors to Hokkaido in cooperation with the Tokyo Embassy, and we would like to continue our activities to enhance the image of the Thailand to the people of Hokkaido.

ベトジェット タイランド新規就航記念式典へ参列し祝辞を述べさせていただきました

2024年12月17日（火）航空会社ベトジェット タイランドが、新たに新千歳、台北、バンコクを結ぶ航路を就航することとなり、同日、新千歳空港で催された「ベトジェット タイランド新規就航記念式典」に荒井名誉領事が参列し、新規就航お祝いのスピーチをさせていただきました。
式典では、タイ国政府観光庁　東京事務所　所長のカジョンデート　アピチャートラクン様ほか皆さまとともにお祝のテープカットもいたしました。
この新しい航路により、北海道とタイ、そして台湾との交流がさらに深まることを期待しつつ、北海道の四季折々の美しい自然と豊かな文化をタイの皆さまにより知っていただきたいと願っております。
また、タイや台湾の皆さまにとりましては、北海道へのアクセスがより容易になることで、観光業のみならず、ビジネスや文化交流の発展にも大いに寄与するものであると確信しており、多くの人々が行き来し、さらなる関係強化のための一助なるであろうことを大変うれしく思います。

Congratulatory speech at the ceremony to commemorate the launch of Vietjet Thailand's new flight service.

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Vietjet Thailand, an airline company, newly started service between New Chitose, Taipei, and Bangkok, and on the same day, Honorary Consul Arai attended the “Vietjet Thailand New Service Commemoration Ceremony” held at New Chitose Airport and delivered a congratulatory speech.
Mr. Kajorndet Apichartrakul, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Tokyo Office, and other guests cut the ribbon in celebration.
We hope that this new route will further deepen exchanges between Hokkaido, Thailand, and Taiwan, and we hope that the people of Thailand will learn more about the beautiful nature and rich culture of Hokkaido in each of the four seasons.
We are also confident that the new route will contribute to the development of not only tourism, but also business and cultural exchange by making Hokkaido more accessible to the people of Thailand and Taiwan, and we are very happy that it will help to further strengthen relations between the two countries.

2024年12月4日(水)に駐日タイ王国大使館主催の「タイ王国ナショナルデー・レセプション」がホテルオークラ東京にて開催され、荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事が出席いたしました。
ウイッチュ駐日タイ王国大使の歓迎の挨拶ののち、日本とタイの関係が2022年に「包括的戦略的パートナーシップ」へ格上げされ、「共創」の精神の下、あらゆる分野での協力が着実に進展している旨が述べられました。
プミポン前国王の御生誕日という、タイ国民にとって特別な日に再びお招きいただけるご縁を頂戴しましたことに心より感謝いたします。また良好な現在の日タイ両国における友好関係が更に深まるよう祈念いたしました。

Mr. Arai, Honorary Consul in Sapporo attended the Royal Thai National Day celebration reception.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy led the "Thailand’s National Day Reception" at the Hotel Okura Tokyo and Honorary Consul in Sapporo, Mr. Arai attended.
Mr. WITCHU Vejjajiva, Royal Thai Ambassador in Japan, gave welcoming remarks and expressed that the relationship between Japan and Thailand has been upgraded to a "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" in 2022, and that cooperation in all fields is steadily progressing under the spirit of "co-creation".
We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to be invited again to the birthday of former King Bhumibol, a special day for the Thai people. We also prayed that the current friendly　relationship between Japan and Thailand will further deepen.

北海道日本ハムファイターズの主催試合にて荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事がファーストピッチを行いました。

2024年4月16日（火）エスコンフィールドHOKKAIDOで行われました北海道日本ハムファイターズ対福岡ソフトバンクホークスとの試合において「タイ王国と日本の友好」を記念してファーストピッチセレモニーが行われ、荒井名誉領事がピッチャーを、北海道を拠点にタイ人をはじめとした訪日外国人誘致コンサルタントをされているサムット・トゥンサリーカセート氏がバッターを務めました。
この度の試合は、タイのコプチャイ・ジッサクラ博士が推進されるThai Chiang Rai Art Elephant Projectの一環で象の塑像2体が株式会社ファイターズ スポーツ＆エンターテイメント様へ寄贈されました。その受け入れを記念し、タイ国籍の方が無料で観戦できる記念イベントも行われました。
今後、北海道在住のタイ人の皆様、ご旅行で北海道へお越しの皆様が、エスコンフィールドHOKKAIDOで迫力あるプロ野球の試合を生で観戦し、北海道のさらなる魅力を体感いただき、北海道の皆様には、タイ王国へより一層関心を寄せてもらい「スポーツ・芸術・文化」あらゆる面で友好関係を築いてもらいたいと願っております。

Mr. Arai, Honorary Consul of the Royal Thai in Sapporo, threw out the first pitch ceremony at the Hokkaido Nipponham Fighters game.

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, a first pitch ceremony was held to commemorate the "Friendship between the Royal Thai and Japan" at the game between Hokkaido Nipponham Fighters VS Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks at the ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO. Mr. Arai was the pitcher and Mr. Samut Tungsaleekased, a Hokkaido-based consultant to attract foreign visitors to Japan, was the batter.
As part of the Thai Chiang Rai Art Elephant Project promoted by Dr. Kobchai Jitsakula, two elephant statues were donated to Fighters Sports & Entertainment Co., Ltd. A commemorative event was held at the game to celebrate the acceptance of the statues, and Thai nationals were able to watch the game for free.
We would like to continue to encourage Thai nationals living in Hokkaido and those traveling to Hokkaido to watch powerful professional baseball games live at ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO. We hope that they will experience the charms of Hokkaido even more. We hope that the people of Hokkaido will take an even greater interest in the Royal Thai and build friendly relations in all aspects of sports, art, and culture.

プラーンティップ駐日タイ王国大使館臨時代理大使は歓迎の挨拶を行うと共に、本年がASEANと日本の友好協力50周年にあたり、ASEAN側対日調整国として日ASEAN協力を新たな高みへと前進させることを述べられました。
プミポン前国王の御生誕日という、タイ国民にとって重要なナショナルデー及び父の日を迎えられたことに祝意を申し上げるとともに、日タイ両国の交流がより一層促進されることを祈念いたしました。

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy led the "Thailand’s National Day Reception" at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo and Honorary Consul in Sapporo, Mr. Arai attended.
Ms. Prangtip Kanchanahattakij, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim (CDA) of the Royal Thai Embassy, gave an opening speech and expressed her hope that this year marks the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan friendship and cooperation, and will advance ASEAN-Japan cooperation.
We would like to congratulate on this important His Majesty's birthday, Thailand's National Day, Father's Day. We also prayed that exchanges between Japan and Thailand would be further promoted.

荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事が、イマヌエルオーケストラ来日公演にご招待いただきました。

荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事がタイのスラム街出身の子供たちで結成された「イマヌエルオーケストラ」の北海道・音更町での来日公演を鑑賞いたしました。
「イマヌエルオーケストラ」はスラムで生まれ育った子供たちに音楽の楽しさを知ってもらおうと、無償で楽器を教える音楽教室から始まり、日本のNPO法人が数年前から楽器を寄贈するなど活動を支援してきました。
「音」「音楽」を大切にし、ゴジラの音楽で有名な伊福部昭さんとのゆかりある、音更のオーケストラの子供たちを合わせた総勢80名程のステージでの演奏は圧巻で、感動した来場者の満場の拍手で終演となりました。
オーケストラの発展に貢献する「イマヌエルオーケストラ」の楽団員の皆様の今後のますますのご活躍をお祈りいたします。素晴らしい演奏をありがとうございました。

荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事が、在東京タイ王国大使館開催の移動領事を訪問いたしました。

2023年3月26日（日）に在東京タイ王国大使館が札幌国際ビルにて開催しました移動領事を荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事が訪問いたしました。
移動領事では北海道在住のタイの方に対し、旅券及び戸籍関連の申請や様々な相談の受付をされており、多くの方々が来場されておりました。
在東京タイ王国大使館領事部の皆様とも会談し、日本在住のタイの方や旅行客へのサポートの必要性と重要性を改めて認識する機会となりました。

荒井在札幌タイ王国名誉領事が、覚王山日泰寺を参拝いたしました。

タイ王国から寄贈された「仏舎利」（お釈迦様の遺骨）が安置されております愛知県名古屋市の覚王山日泰寺を在札幌タイ王国名誉領事補佐の山口と共に、訪れ参拝いたしました。
タイ王国と日泰寺の交流の歴史を学ぶとともに、タイ王国の在札幌名誉領事として活動させていただく旨、ご挨拶をさせていただき、改めて身の引き締まる思いがいたしました。

在札幌タイ王国名誉領事館の開館式と任命式を執り行いました。

ニトリ札幌本社内にて、在日タイ王国特命全権大使シントン　ラーピセートパン閣下ご夫妻他、80名を超える出席者が見守る中、在札幌タイ王国名誉領事館の開館式を執り行いました。
また、その後、任命式を執り行い、荒井功が、シントン　ラーピセートパン閣下より正式に名誉領事に任命されました。
任命式には、鈴木直道北海道知事、秋元克広札幌市長、蛯名大也釧路市長、北洋銀行頭取の安田光春氏の他、在東京タイ王国大使館の皆様、北海道のタイのボランティアの方にもご参加いただきました。
任命式の中で、荒井名誉領事は、「タイから北海道に来られた方々の困りごとに対応し、多くの道民がタイを訪れるような手助けもしたい」と述べました。
